Licence Free Two Communications  

Licence free or PMR446 short range handheld radios do not require a licence to operate from Ofcom due to the fact that they have a fraction of the transmit power compared to the proffesional business range of 2 way radios.
However they are cost effective and an ideal tool for local two way communications as they are simple to use and prove very popular for smaller venues.

They can be fitted with a full range of audio accessories and they are normally preprogrammed with eight frequencies, the licence exempt status of these units extends across most of Europe.
